Invoices out on the first, not the ninth.

Submitted days become pre-bills in one run. You review lines that already know where they came from, then send.

Review the pre-bill, not the pile.

One run drafts every client's invoice. Open a line to see where it came from.

Billing runs

One run, every client
Start a billing run and Diemir drafts an invoice for each client from submitted time. Billing schedules can draft them for you on a cadence; they never send anything on their own.
Each client's own rules
Billing policies live on the client. Mark any line No Charge or Write-Off on the pre-bill, and the reason travels with it.
Time is billed once
A time entry belongs to one invoice line. Removing a line still accounts for its time, so it can't drift onto next month's bill. Refreshing a run rebuilds drafts and never touches an invoice that was sent.
A second approver on large discounts
A discount over 10% of the subtotal, or over $1,000, waits for someone else with invoice permissions to approve it before the invoice can go out.

Invoices

Rounding and rates you can explain
Time rounds down to the tenth of an hour. Each timekeeper's billing rate history is kept.
Clean PDFs from your template
Pick an invoice template, set To and CC recipients and your ACH, wire or check instructions. They're locked in when the invoice is issued. A sent, unpaid invoice can be revised, and the original stays in its history.
Know what's paid
Invoices move through Draft, Sent, Pending and Paid. A Mercury payment request shows as pending while the funds are on their way, and an invoice can't be marked paid until recorded payments cover it.
Reminders and late fees
Send a reminder from the invoice when you choose to. Late fees, where you turn them on, accrue daily.

The books

Trust accountingEarly Access
Trust balances and IOLTA controls, with the option to print a client's trust balance on the invoice.
General ledgerEarly Access
An accounting view of what's been billed and paid, for firms we're onboarding closely.
What Diemir doesn't do
No online card payments, and no LEDES export. Diemir records your trust activity; whether your trust practices meet your jurisdiction's rules stays your firm's call.

Bill from the record, on the first.
