How drafting works
- Generate, or improve what you wrote
- One button in the description field: Generate when it's empty, Improve with AI when it isn't. Either way you get a draft to review. Nothing is written into the entry until you apply it.
- Written in your firm's style
- An administrator sets the firm's style guide and examples, and can import past invoices so drafts follow how your firm already bills.
- Ask for a change, keep the draft
- Ask for it shorter or more formal and Diemir edits that draft instead of starting over.
- Unfinished descriptions, flagged before the evening
- The incomplete-entry reminder lists this month's entries that still need a description. Turn on end-of-day drafts and Diemir prepares them for review before the reminder goes out.
In early access
- Evidence reviewedEarly Access
- See which sources a draft used, which it considered and didn't cite, and exclude any of them to regenerate without it.
- Review many descriptions at onceEarly Access
- Select entries in Time History and review AI drafts for all of them together. Each one is still a draft until you accept it.
- Remembered preferencesEarly Access
- The assistant can propose remembering how you like a description written. You approve it for yourself, or for the firm.
- Diemir Assistant and email suggestionsEarly Access
- An in-app assistant, and suggested tasks and contacts from email, turned on firm by firm.
Who decides
- Off until it's turned on
- The firm chooses who can use AI: no one, selected members or everyone. Then each lawyer turns on AI suggestions for themselves.
- A monthly budget the firm sets
- AI spending stops at the monthly limit an administrator sets.
- Never applied for you
- Drafts and proposals wait for a person. A proposal that no longer matches the entry is marked stale and never applied, and an accept fails if the entry changed since you opened it.
